Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Moises Fernandino started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristóvão Belo. GDP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 10 played minutes GDP got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Leme. After 11 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Abram Luque. El Salvador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Cássio Leme scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zorita, making the score, 1-1. Moises Fernandino might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristóvão Belo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Fernandino ran back to his position shaking his head. Martinho Portela made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leonardo Lousada however managed to control. Reginaldo Lisboa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. After 27 minutes El Salvador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonardo Lousada who took care of the corner kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moises Fernandino in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristóvão Belo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. El Salvador's Moises Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristóvão Belo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Luque in the 43rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reginaldo Lisboa to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Luque got free with Cristóvão Belo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, GDP's Cássio Leme got a free kick in the 60th minute. A collision led to GDP getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lourenço Faria hit a great ball. In the 65th play minute Abram Luque came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cristóvão Belo. 1-2. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Cristóvão Belo made a huge save. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Lousada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Leonardo Lousada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 79th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Curbelo to maneuver through the defense. Moises Fernandino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. El Salvador were furious when Joshua Curbelo was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for El Salvador!
