Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Stein Spoelberch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when King Eken got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 孔磊傲's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, 孔磊傲 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Brugge's supporters rose to their feet, but 孔磊傲 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 孔磊傲 in the 19th minute of the match. Stein Spoelberch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves King Eken could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. With an all-out effort, Club Brugge's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Diederik Temmerman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Stein Spoelberch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 35th minute of play. In the 38th minute, 孔磊傲 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Stein Spoelberch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. A collision led to Club Brugge getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Nickolas Gielens hit a great ball. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when King Eken came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stein Spoelberch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Brugge's Stein Spoelberch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Club Brugge from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 孔磊傲, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Brugge's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stein Spoelberch came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stein Spoelberch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Club Brugge made a substitution. Jan-Simon Elsen replaced 孔磊傲. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 81st minute. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stein Spoelberch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Stein Spoelberch when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 88th minute Jan-Simon Elsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Jan-Simon Elsen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 92nd minute Diederik Temmerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diederik Temmerman took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
