FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Alvin Åberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 2-0. Leif Odman kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 20th minute of play forced FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem's goalkeeper 孟谦默 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Ahlström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Alvin Åberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 played minutes, FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem's Malcolm Bredberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem reached it. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvin Åberg's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute, FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem's Ingvar Frykberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. When Freddie Lund fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem's protests and gave Freddie Lund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 50th match minute, FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Lund to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem's Alvin Åberg. But to his dismay, Alvin Åberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 63 minutes of play, FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem's Alvin Åberg made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 孟谦默 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Bredberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Alvin Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孟谦默 having to interfere. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Åberg in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Arhenius to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute Alvin Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Krogen Krogen Ålidhem's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
