With 5 minutes on the clock, Joshua Curbelo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Hårdmen Slak a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Martin Zachrisson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. 0-1. A collision led to Hårdmen Slak getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Henry Smedfeldt hit a great ball. Jesus Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Abram Luque charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abram Luque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Abram Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Vidar Alegren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Termander, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 25 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Termander came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentino Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Topocho Schiller hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 46thth minute of the game Bengt Termander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Hårdmen Slak were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. William Falk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evert Apelkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abram Luque hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Kyrk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Vidar Alegren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With an all-out effort, Hårdmen Slak's Ricardo Zorita threw himself towards the right post 76 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henry Smedfeldt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abram Luque got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Hårdmen Slak's Valentin Björklund was substituted for Wada Pedson. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Marco Tamayo. A sloppy throw-in by Mei Sen Quan in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by El Salvador's Jesus Carvallo. 88 minutes into the game, Mei Sen Quan threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Salvador's Jesus Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 91 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Termander came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Hårdmen Slak were awarded a corner. Mei Sen Quan went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match was over Hårdmen Slak could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Salvador throughout the match.
