Joachim Forseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Saga TF's Joachim Forseth did a great save. 32 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joachim Forseth. Saga TF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Saga TF's Joachim Forseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 34th minute of play. Iwo Gendolla hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Joachim Forseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of play. Joachim Forseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. 80 minutes into the match, Saga TF's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Joachim Forseth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saga TF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Joachim Forseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Erik Cantona sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Leoz during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mexico were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saga TF for a fine match.
