Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kelvin Quinn took the kick off in the first half of the match. Camilo Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. Dane White made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Franco in the 19th minute of play forced Henley on Thames United's goalkeeper Dane White to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dane White tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dane White showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match, Samuel Sanderson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquin Gayoso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dane White took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Joaquin Gayoso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tod Summers. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tod Summers during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tod Summers hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Escribano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dane White breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kelvin Quinn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames United's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Dane White reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dane White showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronny Dines during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. 59 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Sanderson came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Beldad during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Beldad. In the 67th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dane White saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dane White. Henley on Thames United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Sanderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
