After a defensive mix-up in Siwox Fc's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Mochadlo came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Mochadlo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gilbert Mochadlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oskar Kupits made a kick off. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siwox Fc made a substitution. Victor Hugo Olasagutia replaced Romualdo Marsano. Siwox Fc were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Darío Lattapiat took the corner. In the 62nd minute, one of Siwox Fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Siwox Fc. Ecuadors' Gilbert Mochadlo made a terrific save as he just managed to stop Daniel Zoritas penalty just before it crossed the line at his left post. In the 64th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Siwox Fc's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Siwox Fc's Gilbert Mochadlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 68th minute of play. Siwox Fc made a substitution. David Pizarro replaced Ignace De Muysere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Kupits in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Kupits came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Siwox Fc's Oskar Kupits. But to his dismay, Oskar Kupits quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Ecuador players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
