Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Berganza kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Vilas Boas came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Vilas Boas in the 5th minute of play. Tomas Berganza scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Durval Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute Pedro Damásio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renato Aragão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Marcos Cotilla skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 25 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Aragão came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Durval Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abraham Alguacil went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Gaspar Vilas Boas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Durval Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 34 played minutes Piao FC got a freekick which was hit by Evandro Pinheiro. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Durval Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Renato Aragão scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 46 played minutes Piao FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Vilas Boas. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Piao FC's Reinaldo Carrasqueira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 61 minutes, Mateus Casado made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Panama's Marcos Cotilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 65 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. 68 minutes into the match, Gaspar Vilas Boas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaspar Vilas Boas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Durval Soares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. After 78 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. When Piao FC's Renato Aragão in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panama's goalie prevented a goal. Aristides Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Matthew Garrido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piao FC the free kick. The supporters of Piao FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Pedro Damásio notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
