The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 96th minute of the match, Nelson Mendoza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UFC STEAUA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
