Francesco Toldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 14th minute of play. Francesco Toldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Francesco Toldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the match, Peretu City 09's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francesco Toldo. Suleiman Süleyman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 39th minute, Traian Zdrăilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Toldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The audience was convinced that Suleiman Süleyman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Suleiman Süleyman put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rouco. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Suleiman Süleyman in the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to Peretu City 09 getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Petter Mårtensson hit a great ball. Ramiro Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Paul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Ramiro Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexico players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Peretu City 09.
