Rufus Bangert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerd Della made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Odo Uedickoven immediately put the ball in play. Irmin Michalsky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Rufus Bangert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 27th minute. A collision led to Großberghofen getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Markus Bechert hit a great ball. Rufus Bangert didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Rufus Bangert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Großberghofen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 41st minute, Gerd Della sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Peru's Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move. When Markus Bechert fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Großberghofen's protests and gave Markus Bechert a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Großberghofen's Markus Bechert got a free kick in the 45th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Großberghofen's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rufus Bangert came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
The wind increased when Odo Uedickoven made the kick off in the second half. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odo Uedickoven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rufus Bangert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Großberghofen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Emmanuel Reyes drilling the ball in to score 0-4 behind Großberghofen's goalkeeper. Großberghofen's Rufus Bangert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 74th minute of play. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Markus Bechert made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Gallo in the 83rd minute of play forced Großberghofen's goalkeeper Rufus Bangert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Rafael Gallo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rufus Bangert. Rafael Gallo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Rufus Bangert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rufus Bangert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Eberl in the 95th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Peru walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
