Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 13th minute. When Lepνdhi FC's Zacharias Balodimos in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Zacharias Balodimos made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zacharias Balodimos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guo Shi Kang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guo Shi Kang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute Zacharias Balodimos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Lepνdhi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Guo Shi Kang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 52 minutes, Primitivo Andino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Lepνdhi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Lepνdhi FC's goalkeeper Guo Shi Kang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guo Shi Kang having to interfere. Lepνdhi FC's Pavlos Liaros was substituted for Michal Sakowicz. After 67 played minutes Lepνdhi FC got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Quintal. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lepνdhi FC's 曹思骏 was substituted for Giannis Karanikolas. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Fragiskos Stilianopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Fragiskos Stilianopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 曹思骏 in the 79th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Lepνdhi FC got a freekick which was hit by Mai Xiang Sen. After having played for 85 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Theodosis Karanikolaou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Guo Shi Kang made a huge save. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodosis Karanikolaou in the 95th minute of play. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Lepνdhi FC had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
