George Buturugã made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 16th minute of play forced LOI's goalkeeper George Buturugã to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgür Özbay in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, LOI's George Buturugã got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julian Murillos short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got George Buturugã to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The throw-in from Bektaş Veli Ülgü in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Anthony Alvarado. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Peru's Julian Murillo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. George Buturugã didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 57th minute of the game was made by Bektaş Veli Ülgü with Kaan Öztanır as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 58 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Buturugã showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. George Buturugã was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. LOI made a substitution. Metin Semi replaced Kaan Öztanır. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. In the 92nd minute, Rafael Gallo made a precise shot to the right of George Buturugã. LOI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Antonio Tenorio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Peru were the better team. Peru's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
