With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Vilhelm Vilhelmsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. U.C.MILÁN's Menéndez Walton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 13th minute of play. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Vilhelm Vilhelmsson scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 1-0. Menéndez Walton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 19th minute of play. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Vilhelm Vilhelmsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vilhelm Vilhelmsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as U.C.MILÁN's Vilhelm Vilhelmsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dante Lacasa. That made the score 3-0 after 25 minutes of play. 28 minutes into the match, U.C.MILÁN's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Menéndez Walton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Felix Luque in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U.C.MILÁN's Mark Gonzalez. In the 40th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Menéndez Walton quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 44th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menéndez Walton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo. In the 53rdth minute of the game Vilhelm Vilhelmsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of U.C.MILÁN booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 62 in the game by Alberto Tafalla from a close distance when the talented Menéndez Walton managed to make a qualified save. U.C.MILÁN's players were relieved. U.C.MILÁN's Menéndez Walton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 67th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 67 minutes into the game, when 俞骋景 put in a rough tackle. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for U.C.MILÁN! 78 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Menéndez Walton. Joel Gaona showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. The supporters of Mexico booed when U.C.MILÁN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Menéndez Walton in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Menéndez Walton made a huge save. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Facundo Cadaval could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Menéndez Walton made a huge save. The U.C.MILÁN players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
