Carlo Ciccone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Mansfield Town FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stergios Koutsodimos came free, but Hampus Gallberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Mansfield Town FC defense, Stergios Koutsodimos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hampus Gallberg. The Mansfield Town FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hampus Gallberg should have stopped the shot. Mansfield Town FC's Hampus Gallberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stergios Koutsodimos in the 14th minute of play. Carlo Ciccone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Sandell in the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of Villamarina AFC booed when Mansfield Town FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villamarina AFC's Carlo Ciccone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Olofsson in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Andreas Sandell made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Villamarina AFC's Carlo Ciccone tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mansfield Town FC's Hampus Gallberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Petrochenko in the 24th minute of play. Carlo Ciccone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Sandell, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Carlo Ciccone came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mansfield Town FC's Maximilian Seger. But to his dismay, Maximilian Seger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 36th minute Arthur McIlreach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Gallberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlo Ciccone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Sandell in the 39th minute of play. Arthur McIlreach in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hampus Gallberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 43 minutes into the match, Villamarina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Sandell came free, but Carlo Ciccone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Mansfield Town FC's Hampus Gallberg got control of the ball when Arthur McIlreach tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mansfield Town FC's Andreas Sandell got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Sandell in the 46th minute of play forced Villamarina AFC's goalkeeper Carlo Ciccone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes Villamarina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Stergios Koutsodimos. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andreas Sandell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stergios Koutsodimos kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Maximilian Seger notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Villamarina AFC's Carlo Ciccone. Carlo Ciccone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mansfield Town FC's Frans Blixt was substituted for Tor Olofsson. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Villamarina AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximilian Seger was slow to take the kick. During this time Mansfield Town FC's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Villamarina AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Domenico Cugini hit a great ball.
