Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Eriberto Aztore tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Bingen came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denis Calvino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In a very dangerous position, a player in Atlético Villa Gesell fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atlético Villa Gesell's Denis Calvino. 0-2. Denis Calvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play. Cornelio Ixidors short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd minute, Dario Bingen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Dario Bingen took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Paulo Rudolfo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hipolito Feliu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Benjamin Sal charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Sal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Atlético Villa Gesell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Sal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Atlético Villa Gesell's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dario Bingen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Atlético Villa Gesell's Paulo Rudolfo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Cornelio Ixidor took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Villa Gesell's Dario Bingen. But to his dismay, Dario Bingen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Ixidor in the 66th minute of the match. Atlético Villa Gesell's Donato Benino was substituted for Paulo Rudolfo. 74 minutes into the game, Atlético Villa Gesell's Cornelio Ixidor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. The Atlético Villa Gesell fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Atlético Villa Gesell's Eriberto Aztore looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Atlético Villa Gesell made a substitution. Maximino Peyo replaced Gaston Jerardo. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Bingen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Ixidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Atlético Villa Gesell players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
