Francisco Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zenonas Lopeta charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zenonas Lopeta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Geležinis Vilkas got a freekick which was hit by Zenonas Lopeta. In the 30th minute Deimantas Satkus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jose Manzanedo hit a great ball. In the 34th minute Francisco Carballar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidijus Merkelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Ovidijus Merkelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Deimantas Satkus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geležinis Vilkas's supporters rose to their feet, but Deimantas Satkus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Mariano Lacasa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidijus Merkelis was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Geležinis Vilkas's attentive Gabrielius Velička managed to snatch the ball when Xavier Figueroa made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Ovidijus Merkelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 58th minute of the match. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 59th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Geležinis Vilkas's goalie and right to Alan Tamayo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Geležinis Vilkas's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Ovidijus Merkelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 60th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Ovidijus Merkelis. Geležinis Vilkas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidijus Merkelis having to interfere. In the 65thth minute of the game Deimantas Satkus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidijus Merkelis saved Geležinis Vilkas from getting behind. Ovidijus Merkelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 84th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deimantas Satkus in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Ovidijus Merkelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deimantas Satkus in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Chile players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
