Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mihail Dimovski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 74th minute, Mihail Dimovski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radoslav Rajkoski during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Avtokomanda Sloboda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslav Rajkoski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dojčin Jovanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mihail Dimovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute.
