The FC 2 October fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egor Urazov should have stopped the shot. Juan Sebastián Puig lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! FC 2 October's Egor Urazov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Egor Urazov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Rustam Blinov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC 2 October's Egor Urazov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC 2 October from getting a goal against them. 64 minutes into the match, FC 2 October's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Egor Urazov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, FC 2 October was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vadim Avakov to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Artem Averchenko ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Efim Soloviev came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FC 2 October fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efim Soloviev couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Efim Soloviev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Efim Soloviev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
