Daan Leers ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, 重庆1997联队's Daan Leers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Philippe Fricot kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daan Leers in the 44th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daan Leers in the 46th minute of play. The supporters of 重庆1997联队 booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from 李超森.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 重庆1997联队's Pang Bang Xun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save 重庆1997联队 from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
