Thanks to some nice moves Olimpiu Rizea could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Pedro Manzanares however easily saved by the left post. In the 10th minute, Axel Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Crușeveanu in the 13th minute. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Martin Crușeveanu sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vali Maghiar in the 16th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Maghiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Manea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernest Manea slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isac Hojbota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 30th minute of play forced FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalkeeper Isac Hojbota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Håvard Bjørke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vali Maghiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the game, Colombia's Axel Montenegro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isac Hojbota made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Olimpiu Rizea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Isac Hojbota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 40th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Pascual Carballar lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Isac Hojbota. 54 minutes into the match, Olimpiu Rizea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olimpiu Rizea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. A sloppy throw-in by Fan Wen Nan in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Manea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Crușeveanu in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Kevin Mastache hit a great ball. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Alin Moșanu was substituted for Vintilă Bălășescu. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Kevin Mastache got a free kick in the 76th minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Manea in the 78th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Crușeveanu in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Rizea came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Yosua Helguera in the 86th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Abram Secada. Pascual Carballar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Hojbota having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Vali Maghiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Politehnica Timisoara.
