Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Agustín Saelices might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilgot Palmquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agustín Saelices ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Matthew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vilgot Palmquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilgot Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Iustin Iorgu hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Vilgot Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Övertorneå RK's Vilgot Palmquist did a great save. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Matthew came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Övertorneå RK's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilgot Palmquist came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kristian Tomasson might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kristian Tomasson ran back to his position shaking his head. Vilgot Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play forced Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper Vilgot Palmquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

53 minutes into the match, Övertorneå RK's Harry Almqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Övertorneå RK were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harry Almqvist took the corner. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Mech came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saverio Matthew blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vilgot Palmquist firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 67thth minute of the game Saverio Matthew who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saverio Matthew recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Vilgot Palmquist. Övertorneå RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Vilgot Palmquist made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 78th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Matthew in the 81st minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Matthew, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 played minutes Övertorneå RK got a freekick which was hit by Gökcan Hürmetli. Kristian Tomasson took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Luis Andino's late challenge caught a Övertorneå RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luis Andino helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Övertorneå RK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Almqvist in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Övertorneå RK's Kristian Tomasson got a free kick in the 94th minute.
