Julio Vera was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Fabien Van Daelen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. In the 29th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Bermudez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Red Devils's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Claude Bermudez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fabien Van Daelen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Red Devils's Claude Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, Red Devils's Zsombor Karsai made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elek Elek charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zsombor Karsai made a kick off. With a little luck, Red Devils's Claude Bermudez got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Claude Bermudez made a huge save. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zsombor Karsai's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Fabien Van Daelen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Red Devils's Zsombor Karsai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was a well-played corner which Elek Elek managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Zsombor Karsai scored 4-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
