Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Green Hell F.C.'s Christos Mitroulis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Kareklidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Fragiskos Kalpadakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fragiskos Kalpadakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Kleon Logarakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. 12 minutes into the game, Green Hell F.C.'s Marios Kareklidis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 16th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Vlassis Chelis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marios Kareklidis in the 24th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kleon Logarakis in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Kleon Logarakis put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 31st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute of the match Vlassis Chelis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 0-6 became the score in the 33rd minute when Marios Kareklidis elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fragiskos Kalpadakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Mitroulis in the 45th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes, Christos Mitroulis made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Green Hell F.C. were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Marios Kareklidis came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Marios Kareklidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christos Mitroulis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. In the 58thth minute of the game Kleon Logarakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Marios Kareklidis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 0-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Fragiskos Kalpadakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-9 in the 64 minute of play. In the 69th minute Marios Kareklidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Marios Kareklidis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-10. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Christos Mitroulis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christos Mitroulis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. 84 minutes into the match, Christos Mitroulis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 0-13. In the 88th minute, Green Hell F.C.'s Marios Kareklidis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. After having played for 91 minutes, Fragiskos Kalpadakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green Hell F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fragiskos Kalpadakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loukianos Bouroutzikas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Kareklidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loukianos Bouroutzikas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Green Hell F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
