Pär Bock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Eric Smitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Naredi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Alloruzzi got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute, Cristian Alloruzzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandsjöfors FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 40th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Alloruzzi got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the game, 韩誉翔 threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Patricio Costa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Alloruzzi made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Alloruzzi in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, Sandsjöfors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Pär Bock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Alloruzzi in the 69th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Alloruzzi's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The supporters of Sandsjöfors FF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Sandsjöfors FF fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Sandsjöfors FF's Cristian Alloruzzi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 80 minutes into the match, Sandsjöfors FF's goalkeeper Pär Bock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. In the 81st minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Sandsjöfors FF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Alloruzzi's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sandsjöfors FF fully deserved thier win.
