In the 10th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Curbelo to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Kleon Logarakis came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, Green Hell F.C.'s Kleon Logarakis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Moises Fernandino hit a great ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Marios Kareklidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Green Hell F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marios Kareklidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Green Hell F.C.'s Nasos Giatzoglou got a free kick in the 29th minute. Marios Kareklidis took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marios Kareklidis in the 36th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Marios Kareklidis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 4-0 in the 38 minute of play. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Kareklidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Fragiskos Kalpadakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 5-0 in the 42 minute of play. Abram Luque kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When Marios Kareklidis came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Green Hell F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marios Kareklidis couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
The wind increased when Moises Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Green Hell F.C. booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Christos Mitroulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. There was no doubt that Green Hell F.C. were the better team. Green Hell F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
