Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Yancho Zerliev sent off a good shot on target. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when 广附实况帮队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. 董森枫 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 白树宇 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 22nd minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 白树宇 having to interfere. Yancho Zerliev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 钱广翔 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yancho Zerliev got free with Julio Vera in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute 广附实况帮队 were awarded a corner. 任朋明 went to the cornerflag to take it. 广附实况帮队's 白树宇 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 35th minute of play forced 广附实况帮队's goalkeeper 白树宇 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 白树宇 came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, 俞磊泉 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 广附实况帮队's supporters rose to their feet, but 俞磊泉 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute 俞磊泉 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 俞磊泉 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 白树宇 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 白树宇 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 63rd minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, 广附实况帮队's 白树宇 got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. 齐益桑 kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but 白树宇 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 81st minute, Yancho Zerliev made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 任朋明 hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 白树宇 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after 广附实况帮队's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which 白树宇 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but 白树宇 made a huge save. The 广附实况帮队 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
