The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute Gao Yin Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gao Yin Yang in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zhou Rong Hui who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Edwardów's Zhou Rong Hui to fire away a dangerous shot which Dante Lacasa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of play forced Edwardów's goalkeeper Cezary Kaczeniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cezary Kaczeniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute. Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute of play. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Gao Yin Yang scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 1-0. Stanislaw Koczara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piotr Malinowski in the 40th minute. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Cezary Kaczeniak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezary Kaczeniak having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 50th minute, which Cezary Kaczeniak however easily saved by the left post. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Friberger in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Cezary Kaczeniak in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the game, Edwardów's Stanislaw Koczara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Edwardów's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zhou Rong Hui in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Cezary Kaczeniak in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Edwardów's Cezary Kaczeniak got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lukasz Makomaski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Edwardów support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
