John Antolin hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezmi Gök, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 6 played minutes MarineerS FK got a freekick which was hit by Kıvanç Balyemez. After a rather tough play, MarineerS FK's John Antolin got a free kick in the 7th minute. A hard shot by Axel Montenegro from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got Arnoldo Leicea's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezmi Gök in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Cezmi Gök ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 18 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's Cezmi Gök sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Arnoldo Leicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Leicea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. But to his dismay, Abram Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cezmi Gök to strike the kick off in the second half. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnoldo Leicea having to make a save. In the 52nd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Leicea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Leicea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MarineerS FK's Arnoldo Leicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 74th minute of play. Arnoldo Leicea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 76th minute of the match. Arnoldo Leicea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 81st minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, MarineerS FK's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Arnoldo Leicea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Rydberg got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 93 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Carballar. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. In the 95th minute, Pascual Carballar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
