Arnoldo Leicea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Cezmi Gök kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. MarineerS FK's Arnoldo Leicea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 34th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of MarineerS FK's Arnoldo Leicea. Arnoldo Leicea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, MarineerS FK's Kıvanç Balyemez got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Olgierd Glapiak charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olgierd Glapiak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Chile booed when MarineerS FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olgierd Glapiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Cezmi Gök made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Žydrūnas Pauža in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. After 69 minutes MarineerS FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinç Tuncay in the 72nd minute of play. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Leicea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Arnoldo Leicea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Rydberg came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MarineerS FK made a substitution. Serafino Modestio replaced Dinç Tuncay. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
