Ovidijus Merkelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koby Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prince Anderson in the 13th minute of play. Canada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Koby Wright in the 14th minute. Eric Hill made a great header on Canada's corner, it was just that Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis managed to reach the ball for a save. Canada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carter George was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ovidijus Merkelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koby Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 41 minutes Geležinis Vilkas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Koby Wright who took care of the corner kick. Geležinis Vilkas's Ovidijus Merkelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Geležinis Vilkas from getting a goal against them. Ovidijus Merkelis made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Prince Anderson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter George in the 47th minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Ovidijus Merkelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deimantas Satkus to strike the kick off in the second half. Deimantas Satkus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jax Williamson made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's goal looked a bit too open when Carter George came free, but Ovidijus Merkelis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Canada's Jan Dixon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Geležinis Vilkas. Ovidijus Merkelis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prince Anderson in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prince Anderson in the 79th minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Ovidijus Merkelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidijus Merkelis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Canada walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
