Marcos Cotilla was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Patricio Pelayo. Rebentala FC's Remzi İçten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Rebentala FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Panama for much of the match.
