Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rebentala FC the free kick. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Remzi İçten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 5th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remzi İçten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remzi İçten having to make a save. In the 14th minute Hazım Cilasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remzi İçten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Rebentala FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Kléber Barbosa hit a great ball. After a good free kick, Kléber Barbosa got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Venezuela. Kléber Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléber Barbosa in the 28th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remzi İçten, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 51 minutes of play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remzi İçten was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remzi İçten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Rebentala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Remzi İçten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remzi İçten having to interfere. Rebentala FC made a substitution. Emanuel Reno replaced Maximino Tabby. Rebentala FC's attentive Lisandro Furman managed to snatch the ball when Salvador Gisbert made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Rebentala FC made a substitution. Constantino Umbruso replaced Daniel Laffitte. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Alex Chicote with Patricio Costa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 72nd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Rebentala FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Barbosa in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Kléber Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Kléber Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rebentala FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléber Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remzi İçten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rebentala FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Venezuela.
