Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute Leonides Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Leonides Rosio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo de Sarandi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Leonides Rosio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lester Serre. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Rosio in the 19th minute of play. Elias Honrio made a great header on San Lorenzo de Sarandi's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. 22 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre. Lester Serre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Leonides Rosio managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Rosio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Lester Serre in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. San Lorenzo de Sarandi made a substitution. Ivan Errando replaced Venancio Piorno. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Prospero Mergildo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joshua Secada, made in the 44th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonides Rosio to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo de Sarandi the free kick. In the 53rd minute, Leonides Rosio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Rosio came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Alex Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lorenzo Jerrold got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lorenzo Jerrold slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-4 after 87 minutes of play. When the match was over San Lorenzo de Sarandi could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
