The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In a very dangerous position, a player in Peru fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Peru:s Rolando Noboa showed great skill when he stopped Samuel Etoo:s penalty. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 康雄霆 in the 11th minute of play. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by XL-Azrail Team's 康雄霆. But to his dismay, 康雄霆 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 康雄霆 might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Noboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 康雄霆 ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by 康雄霆 in the 18th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When Christiano Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored XL-Azrail Team's protests and gave Christiano Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. XL-Azrail Team's Nurkan Beycan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save XL-Azrail Team from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fatih-Sultan Tekke in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute Fatih-Sultan Tekke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wieland Wipp who took care of the corner kick. Fatih-Sultan Tekke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. In the 90th minute, Fatih-Sultan Tekke made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. XL-Azrail Team were furious when Christiano Teixeira was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 92nd minute, one of XL-Azrail Team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for XL-Azrail Team. In the 94th minute, Peru got a penalty, and Eliseo Mina placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Nurkan Beycan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The XL-Azrail Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Peru had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
