The supporters of El Renacer del Quijano FC booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 6th match minute, El Renacer del Quijano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koit Einasto to maneuver through the defense. Colombia's Kevin Mastache was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomas Snow in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tomas Snow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobaldo Ubarna. In the 13th minute, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Teobaldo Ubarna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Tomas Snow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Ubarna got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Kevin Mastache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Teobaldo Ubarna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Teobaldo Ubarna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Peneios Protopsaltis was slow to take the kick. During this time El Renacer del Quijano FC's players had a chance to rest. Leandro Laurentzi made a great header on El Renacer del Quijano FC's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Ubarna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Snow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. With a little luck, El Renacer del Quijano FC's Tomas Snow got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Snow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Nicanor Salvino in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Orlando Tafalla. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobaldo Ubarna's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. After 69 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. El Renacer del Quijano FC made a substitution. Maximo Distiratsu replaced Nunez Maurin. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Tomas Snow made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Tomas Snow successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 88 minutes into the match, El Renacer del Quijano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Tomas Snow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Abram Secada kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tomas Snow. That made the score 3-2 in the 92 minute of play. Leandro Laurentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Snow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 97th minute of play. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
