Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Berggren in the 10th minute of play. Priidu Kluge's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Priidu Kluge helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Legion Etrangere fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyryl Chazen having to interfere. In the 20th minute Usub Saia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armin Auru went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Usub Saia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Usub Saia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Usub Saia in the 36th minute of the match. Legion Etrangere were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Usub Saia took the corner. Usub Saia made a great header on Legion Etrangere's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Conrado Virila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legion Etrangere's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Virila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Legion Etrangere's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Francisco Seco scored to the left of an out of position Cyryl Chazen, making the score, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Legion Etrangere's Hardo Laos got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jaime Cazalla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cyryl Chazen. Legion Etrangere's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Armin Auru got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 67th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Chazen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Usub Saia. Legion Etrangere made a substitution. Kristofer Gustavson replaced Hardo Laos. In the 85th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyryl Chazen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Legion Etrangere got a freekick which was hit by Usub Saia. The Legion Etrangere supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Legion Etrangere would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
