Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Marcel Văleanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Vertigo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. After 2 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Văleanu. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. Filip Bocșa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Noboa made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Vertigo's Damian Tirulescu. Nistor Iftimescu hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Hugo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Club Vertigo's Damian Tirulescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Tirulescu in the 28th minute of play. Daniel Chirea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Tasis scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narcis Popoiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Axel Tasis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Costa Rica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Chirea was the one to do the kick off. Axel Tasis got in the 55th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Narcis Popoiu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 71st minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Narcis Popoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club Vertigo getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Nistor Iftimescu hit a great ball. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lautaro Puig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narcis Popoiu having to make a save. In the 82nd minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcis Popoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Vertigo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eliseo Noboa 84 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Damian Tirulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damian Tirulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle went the supporters of Costa Rica were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Club Vertigo side.
