Aníbal Lorenzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The Team FC's Aníbal Lorenzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 39th minute of play. Raul Bowen charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Bowen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raul Bowen hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Julian Murillo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After 58 minutes of play, The Team FC's Cao Shi Yi made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Team FC's Aníbal Lorenzi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save The Team FC from getting a goal against them. Aníbal Lorenzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 64th minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Team FC made a substitution. A collision led to The Team FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Eduardo Navarro hit a great ball. Aníbal Lorenzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Shelton Flanagan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
