Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorel Cretu in the 2nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorel Cretu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorel Cretu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. When FC Truseni's Dorel Cretu in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Dorin Dobã in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Luca Espinar. 21 minutes into the match, Honduras's Sebastian Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anibal Aritza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Aritza having to interfere. Dorel Cretu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Teodor Cornea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 38th minute of play forced FC Truseni's goalkeeper Anibal Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorel Cretu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Lautaro Navarro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Radu Briceag came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Truseni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radu Briceag couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorel Cretu in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Aritza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Villa's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Anibal Aritza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes, FC Truseni's Radu Briceag shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Truseni reached it. When FC Truseni's Dorel Cretu in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. FC Truseni's Sandu Perju was substituted for Tudor Buga. Dorel Cretu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Truseni's Leonid Nazaria got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Anibal Aritza made a huge save. 76 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Dorel Cretu came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Esteban Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Teodor Cornea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. A collision led to FC Truseni getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Teodor Cornea hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Anibal Aritza made a huge save. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Truseni fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
