Vasile Iurea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by He Feng Bin in the 4th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Well-Well Benne, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. Club Vertigo's Emilian Moți was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Iurea in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Vasile Iurea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. He Feng Bin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Vasile Iurea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Vertigo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when He Feng Bin scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 0-7. In the 80thth minute of the game Well-Well Benne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute, Hüseyin Turan Çelenkoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Club Vertigo's He Feng Bin made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pascual Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Feng Bin in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th play minute He Feng Bin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 0-9. Club Vertigo played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
