A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ignacio Vera, 2-0. Ignacio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. ☪ Ay-Yıldız ☪'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Joel Gaona scored to the left of an out of position Ignacio Vera, making the score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Ingemarsson in the 34th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignacio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, ☪ Ay-Yıldız ☪'s Hamodi Hamid got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 49th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that ☪ Ay-Yıldız ☪'s Ignacio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

57 minutes into the match, ☪ Ay-Yıldız ☪'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Ignacio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th match minute, ☪ Ay-Yıldız ☪ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Pedersson to maneuver through the defense. Gürol Özgiray hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ignacio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 97th minute of play forced ☪ Ay-Yıldız ☪'s goalkeeper Ignacio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Mexico players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
