Isac Hojbota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 17th minute of play. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vali Maghiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Vali Maghiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on FC Politehnica Timisoara's corner Elias Abad fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernest Manea in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vali Maghiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The attack was good, but when Vali Maghiar in the 34th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Isac Hojbota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Isac Hojbota in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isac Hojbota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 41st minute of the match. Isac Hojbota made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Isac Hojbota got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line.

In the 63rd minute, Ernest Manea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marco Day. The goal made the score 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vali Maghiar got free with Marco Day in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Edward Mcdonald ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isac Hojbota was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. USA made a substitution.
