Tymoteusz Dlugi hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Valentín Carvallo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Wydrowice SA's Kazimierz Kasiewski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 91st minute of the game Valentín Carvallo made a throw-in which Christian Sancho played forward. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Wydrowice SA.
