Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Team Xtra personell's Ludwig Fransson managed to reach the ball for a save. Martin Ekström hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludwig Fransson saved Team Xtra personell from getting behind. Ludwig Fransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Ludwig Fransson however easily saved by the left post. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niclas Blom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Niclas Blom notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 minutes, Jim Kling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Team Xtra personell and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card.
