Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. When Harald Ingemarsson fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ☪ Ay-Yıldız ☪'s protests and gave Harald Ingemarsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, ☪ Ay-Yıldız ☪ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Ingemarsson to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on ☪ Ay-Yıldız ☪'s corner Ahmet Ozan Saygur fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball.
The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 64thth minute of the game Abdulkerim Türköne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hamodi Hamid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Harald Ingemarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Ozan Saygur in the 84th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Abdulkerim Türköne had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdulkerim Türköne was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. ☪ Ay-Yıldız ☪'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Ignacio Vera, making the score, 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ecuador had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
