Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otomar Plíva in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Jarmil Bůžek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Michal Hoskovec fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's protests and gave Michal Hoskovec a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Michal Hoskovec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarmil Bůžek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jarmil Bůžek quite easily take care of the ball. Jiří Bobek hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Öberg in the 13th minute of play. Jarmil Bůžek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jarmil Bůžek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otomar Plíva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Otomar Plíva dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otomar Plíva in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarmil Bůžek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when SK Slavoj Vyšehrad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Horálek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Otomar Plíva made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Öberg in the 51st minute of the match. Jarmil Bůžek made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's goalkeeper Jarmil Bůžek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Rohan, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Otomar Plíva took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Jarmil Bůžek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiří Bobek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute SK Slavoj Vyšehrad were awarded a corner. Martin Lanc went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Jiří Bobek. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarmil Bůžek having to interfere. In the 82ndth minute of the game Otomar Plíva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jarmil Bůžek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otomar Plíva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
