Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Michalis Rorris got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerasimos Kipouros made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Michalis Rorris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Michalis Rorris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fanis Thomiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Güner Taşkınay came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michalis Rorris struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Living Dead. In the 25th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Michalis Rorris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Michalis Rorris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michalis Rorris in the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Living Dead's Gerasimos Kipouros got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 45 played minutes Living Dead got a freekick which was hit by Michalis Rorris. The Costa Rica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Living Dead were winning 0-1.

Living Dead made a substitution. Akis Marinos replaced Michalis Rorris. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Akis Marinos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes into the game, Juan Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Living Dead the free kick. The supporters of Living Dead booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lazaros Papadamos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Living Dead's Lazaros Papadamos got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Lazaros Papadamos scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Akis Marinos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Living Dead's supporters rose to their feet, but Akis Marinos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fanis Thomiou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themos Kebakopoulos in the 75th minute of play. Lazaros Papadamos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Themos Kebakopoulos made a great header on Living Dead's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 81st minute. Living Dead played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
