Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narcis Popoiu came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A hard shot 40 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Narcis Popoiu managed to make a qualified save. Club Vertigo's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narcis Popoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. Narcis Popoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 65th minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Narcis Popoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 74th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narcis Popoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narcis Popoiu saved Club Vertigo from getting behind. Narcis Popoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 79th minute of play. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Narcis Popoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Honduras booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tudor Ionașcu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 93rd minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Narcis Popoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narcis Popoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Honduras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
