In the 12th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarmil Bůžek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Otomar Plíva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 20 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Oláh came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match SK Slavoj Vyšehrad got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Martin Lanc ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Jiří Bobek. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otomar Plíva in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Jarmil Bůžek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. After 36 minutes SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Felix Montes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jiří Bobek in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Jarmil Bůžek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 58th minute Otomar Plíva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Hoskovec to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's goalkeeper Jarmil Bůžek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 68th minute Otomar Plíva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otomar Plíva in the 70th minute of the match. Jarmil Bůžek made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Daniel Zorita fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's Otomar Plíva got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, SK Slavoj Vyšehrad's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Jarmil Bůžek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Jarmil Bůžek in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jiří Bobek came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Öberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
